The build and design process

Getting to know your business

Once your deposit is paid and your contract signed, you’ll receive a welcome email with links to a shared Onedrive/GDrive folder. This is where we will collate everything for the project and you will find any guidance documents needed. We will then book in a chat (either by phone/zoom or in person if you're local!) to go over everything and discuss styles, content and any questions you may have.

Design and Build

This is when it starts to get exciting! Once you have shared all your copy and images I will get to work designing an initial homepage mockup for you to review. Once finalised and style changes made, I will start the build of the whole site. With regular updates throughout.

Review and Go LIVE!

Once the site has been completed, there will be the opportunity for two reviews before it GOES LIVE...wahooo! I will then be on hand to manage the site for you. Find out more ↓

Hosting and Management

The design and creation of your website is just the beginning.

With my website management services your site is managed for you…so you can focus on your business.

I ensure your website is kept up-to-date with the growth of your business.

Frequently asked questions

Payment plans are available at no extra cost and a great option if you have a busy schedule and might struggle to get your content together or if you would like to spread the cost.

If you wish to choose the payment plan option we will spread the development of your site and your payments over three months. How the build is divided up will be tailored to suit you.

If you have any questions I would be happy to discuss this with you.

After an initial zoom chat or call, I will send over a questionnaire to help you decide on your website needs and requirements.

Once the site requirements have been agreed, the deposit paid and contract signed you will receive your Welcome email with details on on how we will connect and share content throughout the process. You just need to sort  your email and domain name and I recommend GoDaddy. (for WordPress) or sign up for Squarespace should this be your platform choice.

I like to compare it to the ground a house is built on. You need land to place the house on.

The hosting provider makes your website  accessible on the internet by providing space to store website data on.

I use a top ranking provider for all the sites I build for sites.

All of my clients WordPress sites are built with the Elementor Pro builder and as a managed site you have use all of my Elite licenses.

I provide you with a series of copy prompts to help you get started on your own copy writing or I can recommend some copy writers to you.

Working with Lou has been such a positive experience. She took my very basic - and often changeable - list of ‘nice to haves’ and turned them into a beautiful, user-friendly website that totally gets across everything that I want IAMRunner to be. I would not hesitate to recommend her. Not only is she very personable and really easy to get on with - something that’s so important when you’re looking for someone to help grow your brand - but very talented too. Both myself, and my clients, are better off for having her onboard. Thank you, Lou.
